School Experience Programme

To access our open days, you will need to register your details on the Get Into Teaching website and then apply for a SEP place via your personalised checklist on their online portal.

During the course of one of our open days, you will have the opportunity to sign up to a further ten additional days to help you build up your experience within a school. Many of our delegates also go on to apply to train with us and become qualified teachers within our alliance.

School Direct

‘TVTSA is an excellent choice if you’re thinking of teaching because it provides you with essential skills whilst gaining practical experience in a school environment. Also, you are able to collaboratively with experienced staff who can offer support and advice to progress as a teacher.’

Through TVTSA, you can apply to train in the school of your choice. You must apply for School Direct places via the UCAS Teacher Training scheme. To find the route that’s right for you, use the UCAS Teacher Training search tool. Under ‘all training programme types’, select either the ‘School Direct training programme (salaried)’ or the ‘School Direct training programme’ option. You will need to register with UCAS Teacher Training to submit and track the progress of your application.
